Ingrid Jean-Baptiste started acting at the age of two in Paris, where she was born and raised, studied History at La Sorbonne University, before she embarked on a journalism career in Paris and Los Angeles.
In 2012, she had a car accident, broke 7 ribs and fractured her spine. While recovering, Ingrid thought about creating a platform that would be a space to raise awareness about our world's pressing issues. The Chelsea Film Festival was born and a few years later selected in the Top 10 Best Film Festivals in North America (ranking #6) by USA Today.
Some of her Film & TV credits include: THE BLACKLIST, BLUE BLOODS, GOYAVE, INSTINCT ANIMAL (selected at the 2019 Festival de Cannes). She co-produced her first short film THE SECRET and was cast as a lead in FRESH DIRECT and GOOGLE Pixel commercials.
Summer 2022 and 2023, she had the honor to be invited by the Consulate General of France in New York to host Bastille Day at SummerStage, Central Park in front of 7000 people. Celebrate Bastille Day with French and American artists this July 14th. More details available on YouTube!
As the Chelsea Film Festival Founder, she hosted her first TV Show on CUNY TV last year presenting the work of alumni filmmakers. She can do it all!

Ingrid Jean-Baptiste started practicing yoga in West Hollywood over a decade ago. She remembers being invited to a very hot (literally 100 degrees!) yoga class on a Saturday morning with her Aussie friend. Little did she know, this would become an addiction.
In 2019, after facing a nervous breakdown, hot yoga was not enough, she then decided to take it a little further and stepped into a meditation studio that changed her life. It was more than the classic candle-lit New York City yoga studio, where you think you've entered an audition room for America's Next Top Model. She discovered the true meaning of the word: "YOGA" (union) in learning a very ancient technology designed to repair your mind, body and spirit. Kundalini Yoga, also called the Yoga of Awareness became her daily practice and inspiration to be the best version of herself.
Being a fearless leader in everything she puts her mind to, Ingrid decided to teach Kundalini Yoga via Zoom during the pandemic and currently shares her practice with the world during a time, where Tikkun Olam is desperately needed. She has been offering complimentary classes on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11am EST. Drop her a note if you are interested in joining her classes.
