ACTOR+CREATOR CHELSEA FILM FESTIVAL

Ingrid Jean-Baptiste started modeling and acting at the age of two in Paris, where she was born and raised, studied History at La Sorbonne University, before she embarked on a journalism career in Paris and Los Angeles.
In 2012, she was involved in a car crash that involved 7 other people, had 7 broken ribs and a fractured spine. While recovering from this traumatic accident, Ingrid thought about creating a platform that would be a space to raise awareness about our world's pressing issues. It has become the Chelsea Film Festival, which has been selected in the Top 10 Best Film Festivals in North America (ranking #6) by USA Today.
Some of Jean-Baptiste's notable work was in GOYAVE and INSTINCT ANIMAL, both selected at the Festival de Cannes 2019. Her first short film THE SECRET she co-produced was released in October 2020. You can now see her in Season 8 (Episode 7) of the critically acclaimed TV Show THE BLACKLIST.

Ingrid Jean-Baptiste started practicing yoga in West Hollywood over a decade ago. She remembers being invited to a very hot (literally 100 degrees!) yoga class on a Saturday morning with her Aussie friend. Little did she know, this would become an addiction.
In 2019, after facing a nervous breakdown, hot yoga was not enough, she then decided to take it a little further and stepped into a meditation studio that changed her life. It was more than the classic candle-lit New York City yoga studio, where you think you've entered an audition room for America's Next Top Model. She discovered the true meaning of the word: "YOGA" (union) in learning a very ancient technology designed to repair your mind, body and spirit. Kundalini Yoga, also called the Yoga of Awareness became her daily practice and inspiration to be the best version of herself.
Being a fearless leader in everything she puts her mind to, Ingrid decided to teach Kundalini Yoga via Zoom during the pandemic and currently shares her practice with the world during a time, where Tikkun Olam is desperately needed. She has been offering complimentary classes on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11am EST. Drop her a note if you are interested in joining her classes.
